Somewhere in the Hawthorne, Florida area - A
small lake near a golf course - Just after
sunset, before the light totally faded away, I
saw these pickerel weed plants and thought they
made a nice shape - I got out my trusty old
tripod and made this shot on Kodak E-100vs
slide film. Ah, those were the days. Film. No
idea if you got the shot or not - I mean, You
knew you pressed the shutter, and you knew the
camera did its job, but you couldn't check the
back of the camera to see what happened. What a
strange concept these days - I had a film
camera with me at a wedding recently, and this
little flower girl could not understand why my
camera didn't have a display on the back. She
kept asking to see the picture I just took of
her, and was agitated that I wasn't able to
show her. Go figure...
